Our company builds mainly sailing yachts – approximately 90% of our production. We have manufactured 160 sailing yachts between 54’ and 65’ over the last 27 years. Since our establishment in 1919 we have manufactured in total over 2000 yachts of varying size and use. With superior quality in mind, Ta Chiao Chou has constructed yachts which are approved by IACS’s such as Lloyd’s, DNV and Bureau Veritas. We also have ISO9001:2000 Certification which was granted in January 2006. Recently Ta Chiao Chou has focused on the construction of larger sailing yachts. We recently have delivered two 92’ and one 106’, these were all built to meet the +100A1 SSC G6 Yacht Mono LMC of Lloyd’s Register and MCA. In our new facility in Hualien we have invested in the latest technology and machinery and have just delivered a carbon racing sail yacht of 111’ designed by Massimo Paperini of Duck Design (Italy) and we are working with a large international hotel group in the construction of thirty-five 65’ sailing yachts for charter.
